About Treatment
Human joints are covered with a membrane called the joint capsule, and the pain we normally feel is often caused by the stimulation of sensory receptors in the joint capsule. The joints that connect the bones are designed to be immobile, but they have the inherent elasticity to move in eight directions within a range of 1 mm and return to their original position.
Joint Neutral Seitai is a manual therapy that adjusts joints that have lost strength to within 1mm, restoring them to their original elastic state and relieving pain.
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) is a rehabilitation method invented in the United States in the 1940s to recover muscle weakness and decreased joint range of motion caused by cerebral palsy and cerebrovascular disorders. It uses a unique diagonal spiral movement to stimulate the sensory organs that control muscle-tendon movement, restoring muscle output.
At Murayama Therapy Clinic, we use Joint Neutral Seitai to adjust the joints and PNF Seitai to adjust the muscles and tendons around the joints, so we do not overlook the entire body and we are mindful of leaving nothing undone.
